Over the past few years I've realised the importance of skincare and I've been trying lots of different brands to find the perfect skincare regime for me. I've only been using ARK skincare for a few weeks but I already know its one of my favourite skincare ranges.
ARK Age Aware Skincare* has developed 3 skincare ranges which instead of concentrating on skincare to suit your skin type it focuses on your skin age. They have a range of skincare for Teens to Early 30's called Age Prepare* , a range for Mid 30's to 50 called Age Maintain and a range for 50 & Beyond called Age Repair.
I love good packaging and my first impressions when I received this gorgeous package was Wow! So professional and clean, fantastic branding for skincare.
Inside the gift bag was the ARK Age Aware Skincare Age Prepare Discovery collection in a mesh zip travel bag,which I really like and once I've used up the products inside, I will most probably use it as a make up bag as its perfect handbag size.
The discovery collection includes the age prepare skin refining exfoliator, skin clear cleanser, skin purifying mask and the skin vitality moisturiser. They are all 30ml which is the perfect size to test out and see if you like the product.
With my skin being quite dry around my forehead and nose, I love a good face scrub and this one is beautiful! It has fine exfoliating particles and gently exfoliated and removes my dry/dead skin on my face leaving my skin so soft and smooth.
The skin purifying mask feels amazing on my skin. Ive only used it a few times but it leaves my skin feeling calm and fresh. As it dries it feels tight on my face but I like that with masks as the ones that sit wet on my face don't leave my skin feeling as nice.
I always love cleansing my face morning and night but this cleanser really does the job of removing my makeup after a long day really well. It controls my oilier areas of my face but doesn't dry out my dry areas which is the perfect cleanser for me.
I rarely get on well with moisturisers as my dry areas need a rich moisturise but rich moisturisers always break my skin out and feel oily ,so its hard to find a moisturiser to suit me. That said this moisturiser feels quite thick on application but once its soaked into my skin within 5 minutes , it doesn't feel oily at all and my skin feels ready for what ever the day may throw at me.
The ARK skincare discovery collection ranges area available from their website for £22 at the moment when its normally £28. ARK skincare is more on the high end scale of skincare but I would say its worth it if your having trouble finding the perfect skincare routine.
