MOVEMBER MOUSTACHE NAILS

Monday, November 17, 2014

I'm sure you've all heard of Movember but in case you haven't its a really great cause that not just men can raise awareness for, obviously we as women cant grow a moustache for Movember but we can raise awareness and support Movember in many ways. I have chosen to obviously do a Movember themed Manicure and I hope you like it!

I will link here to the official Movember website to find out more information about how your 'Mo Bro' (your man) as they are being called this year can get involved and how you yourself can help raise funds for Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Metal Health.

I started off by painting my nails with two coats of the Beauty UK Posh Polish Grit FX nail polish in the shade Banksy which is a really pretty slate grey with a slight lilac undertone. I then painted two triangles on either side of my ring finger to form the Tuxedo print using the Beauty UK Nails Polish in the shade Black Out. I also added two little dots with a dotting tool to look like Buttons.

Then using the Nail Magic glue I carefully stuck the 3D Moustaches onto my ring finger just above the buttons. I thought this looked cute as it would traditionally be a bow tie on a Tux but the Moustaches made this manicure perfect for Movember. The Glue and the Moustaches are both available from Charlies Nail Art.

Charlie has been working super hard to improver her website and product range recently and the new website looks and works fantastic so be sure to check it out for awesome products at amazingly low prices! I've said before in a previous Charlies Nail Art Post but Charlie really is very helpful and provides great customer service.

  1. These mustaches are absolutely perfect and adorable! I love the idea of a mustache-related-post in correspondence with Movember!! I'm totally a fan of Movember, my Dad actually died a few years back from prostate cancer, and I feel that spreading awareness about the movember-movement is kind of a way of honoring him. I've got to put a post up!!

    Much Love!!!!
