Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer - Celestial Review + Swatches *

I recently had the pleasure of receiving this Rimmel London Apocalips lip lacquer from fragrance direct. I hadn't tried any of the Apocalips lip lacquers before and I was really excited to get to try them out.

The one I received is in the shade Celestial and its a pretty dusky pink and for me its a 'my lips but better' colour as its very similar to my natural lip shade but better and in a tube. I really like the feel of this lip lacquer on my lips as its not sticky at all like a gloss but shiny like one and also its colour pay off is like a lipstick. This product I would really say is a liquid lipstick and its really smooth on my lips.

With flash glare

The packaging of this product I like a lot. Its very modern and sleek and I love how the colour of the product fades into the black packaging.

With flash no glare

For me this shade is more a shade I would wear everyday and more in autumn and winter than summer. I prefer brighter shades in summer personally.

Without flash

There are a range of different shades within this Apocalips line which I'm keen to try and next on my wish list is the shade Nova which is a bright pink. I've seen on a few swatches of Nova and looks lovely!
