MAKEUP REVOLUTION NAKED UNDERNEATH FAUX FUR PALETTE REVIEW

Makeup Revolution have well and truly taken the drugstore makeup world by storm in the last year and when they keep coming out with AMAZING new product launches its easy to see why they are fast becoming the BEST drugstore beauty brand. For someone who hardly ever wore eye-shadow unless I was filming a tutorial, I've built up quite the collection of palettes from makeup revolution over the last few months and this one is the latest release from them. Its called the Naked Underneath Faux Fur Palette and its full of 16 wonderfully pigmented natural and smokey shadows...

This palette is £7.99 which for the quality of the packaging and shadows is amazing value for money! The variation of shades and the fact that the shadows have a film over them with names on is phenomenal. My only negative about their other palettes I own was that I would have loved names on the shadows as its easier when filming tutorials to name which shadows I used and this palette has sorted that issue out.

The pigmentation and consistency is lovely and I really can't rave about these enough. They aren't chalky at all and the matte shades are perfect for everyday looks. The shimmer shades are so pigmented and smooth that I don't find in get a lot of fall out when I use them which is great! I find them all quite creamy to use, if that makes sense for powder eye shadows. They just feel so luxurious to use, I don't think anyone using them would guess they where drugstore shadows.

Now the packaging on the other hand, for me not so great. Its faux fur so 100% animal friendly BUT I find it sheds quite a bit and for a eye product I don't really want the packaging shedding little black hairs. I have since removed my faux fur from my palette as its only stuck on the plastic lid and now it doesn't look as pretty as it did but I find it much easier to use.

As you can tell apart from the faux fur packaging , I absolutely adore this new Makeup revolution palette and I highly recommend it as the shadows are beautiful! It also features a full size mirror like most of the makeup rev palettes which I love as its so clear and perfect for travelling!

Love Funky statement jewelry? Then you'll love this post! You all know how much I ADORE Paris and who doesn't love diamonds, so let me tell you all about ANARCHIK*. They are Parisian jewelry designers who came up with this amazing ring concept back in 2013. Realizing that jewelry is worn everyday and not just special occasions anymore, they designed the perfect ring to suit any style, colour theme or occasion. By having interchangeable silicone rings in an amazing colour range, you can chose your perfect diamond colour / setting and then change up your ring colour to suit your day. I chose the pave diamond setting with the light grey and fuchsia silicone rings and I couldn't be happier with this gorgeous duo.

The packaging is Divine and so luxurious! I love the white and grey theme with the pretty black ribbon on the gift bag. This would be such an amazing gift for someone who loves statement pieces in their jewelry collection. The ANARCHIK logo is really well designed with an A cleverly designed into a diamond shape. I'd have loved to have visited the ANARCHIK shop on the Champs Elysées as I imagine its so sleek and sophisticated in there with a pop of colour from all the amazing silicone rings.

The website is super helpful and has a handy size guide so its quick and easy to choose your ring size. But if your lucky enough to get in store you can use the card ring size finder as a guide also. The ANARCHIK diamonds come with a certificate of authenticity and they also guarantee that all their diamonds are from conflict free countries , which is fantastic! The silicone they use is also similar to the one used in food related products so its totally harmless to your skin.

I think the ANARCHIK brand is so elegant and modern. I really do love the branding, packaging and the rings! The ring is so comfortable to wear , I could definitely wear it everyday! The colours I got look so nice together, I could easily stack them. Its also so easy to change the diamond to another silicone band, you simple push it in from the inside out and listen for a click so that you know the diamond is secure in the silicone. I found it a little trickier to remove it to switch colours at first but once i'd got used to where to grip the diamond It was easy! The two silicone rings and the paved diamond set is 149,00 € which works out at £107,75 so not cheap but a very nice diamond which would make the perfect payday treat for yourself or a special gift for someone else! You can also buy the silicone rings separately for only £13.74 so its a reasonable price to be able to switch up your ring colour and start an ANARCHIK collection.

Saturday morning was like Christmas morning all over again, well for the cats in particular. They received their Valentines Special Purrfect Box which is a monthly subscription box for cats. It includes 5-6 high quality treats, toys , health, hygiene and grooming products. As soon as I got the box on the bed the cats knew it was for them, I didn't even have to call them to come and take a look what was inside.

Once I'd opened the box I realised what all their excitement was about, there was this cute cuddle heart toy filled with what I suspected was cat nip. Jodie started rolling around on the lid of the box . Silly me opened the box wrong so the lid was still in one piece. Then they both where chewing the heart still in the packaging and playfully fighting over it. I removed it from the packaging and oh my it stunk! I looked up what it was as it didn't smell like normal catnip toys. It turns out it was filled with pure Valerian root which is a plant similar to catnip but when googled states it can mimic the smell of cat urine. As much as they where enjoying this cute little toy I did have to unfortunately bin it as I worry that with Scottie being a boy he may try and scent it and spray which is a problem I wish to avoid AND it stunk the whole house out hehe.

With that aside the box then contained a nice cat magazine with cute little cat facts and information on the items in the box. The box also contained a reflective cat collar which is perfect for cats who venture out into the world. Unfortunately for mine they don't so I gave this to my neighbours cat as it features a clever clasp so if the cat gets caught on something it won't strangle the cat or hurt it as its not a conventional collar clasp. And its reflective so your cat can be seen at night!

Then to my cats delight the box also came with a laser pen. My two love their laser pens and when ours ran out of battery last year, I kept forgetting to purchase batteries so this is fantastic to get a new one. They have not stopped playing with it ...well neither have I , its so much fun and Jodie our almost 9 year old goes crazy for it!

The last few things in the box where treats consisting of cat caviar, liver pate and anti hairball paste. These we haven't tried yet as I do keep them on quite a strict diet due to them being indoor cats but my neighbours cats have had a good nibble on the cat caviar and it looked as though they thoroughly enjoyed it!

The Purrfect boxes are £19.90 per month with no commitment which means you can unsubscribe anytime. The more months you subscribe for the cheaper the box. Its quite an expensive subscription box but for our little furry friend to enjoy once a month, it is nice to receive and surprise them with. Oh and of course even when the box is empty , the cats can enjoy their favourite part of the Purrfext box...The Box of course hehe! Mine love a good nap on some cardboard so I'm sure this box will be very loved!
