DOUGHNUTS & CUPCAKES NAIL ART
Thursday, June 19, 2014
As someone who loves cakes and doughnuts of all kinds, you can imagine my delight when I received these gorgeous 3D cupcakes from Charlies Nail Art. I had them in a set which came with a ton of other cute 3D nail art including cherries, mickey mouse and bows which I will be featuring soon. Charlie also sent me a really good nail glue which I used to stick the cupcakes onto my nail and they literally lasted 5 days which is good considering 3D nail art normally falls off within a day on me...
1.Beauty UK Nails Polish Pretty In Pink* | 2.Cupcake 3D Nail Art* | 3.Beauty UK Tropical Nail Polish Set*
I painted my nails with the new 'Nails' Polish from Beauty UK in the shade Pretty in Pink which is the perfect baby pink with a slight blue undertone. It looks a lot darker in my photos than it is in the bottle but I think that's down to the flash on my camera. I then painted a dripping icing design onto my thumb and middle finger using a white nail polish and then I used the Beauty UK Nail Polish set in Tropical for the sprinkles. I then created doughnuts on my forefinger and pinky finger using my OPI polish in the shade San Tan Tonio and decorated them with the same Beauty UK Tropical Nail polish set. And lastly I dotted a tiny bit of nail glue onto my nail and placed the 3D cupcakes onto my ring fingers. I love the cupcakes and think they look so pretty!
I got a load of compliments on my nails when I used the 3D cupcakes and as they are quite big I thought they would annoy me but they didn't, they were really comfortable to wear and lasted a good 5 days before I picked them off. They probably would have lasted longer but I played with them a little. Also as I didn't loose them, I can definitely use them again in the future.
The Cupcake 3D are available in a pack of 10 from Charlies Nail Art for £1. They are really good quality and for a pound you really cant go wrong. They will instantly create amazing nail art and are really quick and easy to use.
