I love gel nail polishes so when my friend ordered a polish from BlueSky gel nail polish I as intrigued as I hadn't heard of that brand previously. The polish my friend had was the temperature colour changing gel nail polish which unless I'm super late to the party, I totally haven't seen a polish like this before!

If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know how much I love scented candles or wax melts so it won't come as a surprise when I rave about these new Scented Candle Heaven wax pots. Lynne from SCH was so kind and sent me a huge collection of my favourite fresh/fruity summery scents which I have had the pleasure of melting over the past week.

The melts are all para-soy wax which makes the scent throw incredible compared to ordinary wax melts in my opinion. They fill my house let alone a room and everyone comments on how gorgeous my house smells when I'm melting these in my wax burner. I can't tell how long the scents last as I cut my melts into 4 quarters but I haven't had to dispose of any wax yet! Once they have melted, the wax disks I always reuse so they are so long lasting!

I love them all as they all smell so gorgeous and perfect for summer but id have to say my top 10 ultimate favourites are in no particular order -

Doodlebug

Apple mallow

Summer Berries

Kumquat

Mango Sorbet

Iced Pineapple

Amazing Baby

Serendipity

Juicy

Raspberry Lemonade

I could try and describe all the scents and explain exactly why these melts are my favourite but ill leave that for my YouTube favourites video coming very soon to my channel!

As you can see Scotties favourite was Apple Cotton Candy hehe.

I can't wait to melt more if these SCH pots and really test out the longevity of the scent so I'll make sure I update you soon either on YouTube or in a post.

Have you tried any melts from Scented Candle Heaven?? Let me know in the comments id love to know which scents are your favourite!

Fashion illustrating is one of my many passions! I started posting my fashion illustrations on my instagram page @sj_illustrations back in 2014 and I've had such an overwhelming response to them and huge support on my page with over 3300 followers. It's unreal to me that people like, comment and request my Illustrations so I thank you all for supporting me! Ive been asked by a few brands and celebs if I could illustrate for them , So I've decided to start selling custom Fashion illustrations. If you are interested in purchasing one of my fashion illustrations feel free to contact me via my email or Instagram page!

I was recently asked to if I wanted to be a featured artist for the website Cowling & Wilcox which of course I accepted and I loved answering all their questions, so feel free to check out my feature here. You can find out my main inspiration for illustrating and also some handy tips and tricks that may help any aspiring fashion illustrators!

My Illustrations often get liked and reposted by celebs or people in the public eye like the gorgeous Zoella, Jodie Marsh, Ferne McCann and many more! I also run giveaways so that my followers can enter for the chance to win a personalised fashion Illustration. My latest competition winners where Mollie from ModernMollie.com and Lauren. Mollie asked if I could combine two pictures shown below. The short hair and pose taken from the first image and the outfit from the second. I loved creating this illustration as it pushes me to mix photographs and I'm really pleased with the final Illustration .

I haven't felt the urge to want to change our bedroom theme for years now but recently with all the changes around the house and having the redecorating  bug, I finally want to mix it up a bit. Well a lot!

From Paris boudoir to Unicorn heaven with this new fun and colourful range from Primark Home. I've already bought the new I Donut Care Bedding but we still have to paint the walls white and perhaps wallpaper the feature wall with white brick effect paper!

I'll still keep all of our Paris bedding and Paris lamps in storage for when we want a change but we will have to remove the Paris Eiffel tower wall Sticker unfortunately as that's the wall we want the wallpaper on.

I can't wait to swap our lamps for cloud and star lamps (pictures below) and I quite fancy making some paper pom garlands for behind the bed like the picture in the colours in on the bedding.

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing my Brother & his fiance Charlotte for there engagement photoshoot. They got engaged back in July but they wanted special engagement photos so that they can use some for save the dates etc for their upcoming wedding next April.

If you've been a reader of my blog for a while you'll know how much I LOVE photography! It's one of my many passions as i really like capturing special moments.

We took over 400 photographs but once I'd filtered through them and deleted the blurry ones etc they had around 30 photos for their engagement album. I also wanted to make them a secret video of the engagement shoot as I also adore videography and wanted to try out a few different techniques to my usual filming style. They knew I was filming something but they didn't know what it was for and after editing for almost 22 hours their video was complete which included their first dance song.

They posted it on Facebook and had tons of lovely comments and they were thrilled with it, so it was well worth the 22hrs editing!

Let me know what you think for the photos and video and I hope your all having a fantastic day!

In the past few years I've really got into Skincare products and face masks so I love finding new products from different brands to test out and review. I have so many new Skincare products I may even do a Skincare review one a week to catch up with my posts! This week's Skincare is by Botanicals who kindly sent me two sample pots of their Mandarin Cleansing melt and their Green Clay Mask. Botanicals products are all natural and organic so I couldn't wait to try them.

My first impression on opening the pots where that the products smelt amazing! Such fruity fresh scents which are my favourite scents anyways so that kind of won me over straight away. The sample pots where very small but Botanicals assured me that a little goes a long way and I have to say they weren't lying about that! I've used both of these more than 3 times each and I've still got a few applications left.

The Green Clay Mask is a strange one however! I was expecting it to be more of a clay consistency but it's more of an oily balm than a mask. Once I'd asked how the mask was supposed to be used it made sense. You can either apply it straight to your face for a less mask like finish or mix it with a little flower water to create more of a paste consistency. Leave it on your face for 10 minutes and then remove it with a warm cloth.

I haven't yet mixed it with flower water but I've used it on its own and its beautiful! It leaves my skin not only smelling amazing but feeling so soft.

The Mandarin Cleansing melt is phenomenal! It's really quite oily but it feels great when it's melting into your skin! My face just feels so supple and smooth once I've used this especially when I've applied it in circular motions.

This one really does go a long way and you only need a pea size amount for your whole face. As I mentioned it smells Divine and such a fresh citrus scent which I'm always a huge fan of.

What Botanicals states about the mask and the melt...

Balancing detox mask: green clay & avocado

"Mediterranean green clay helps draw out impurities and eliminate dead skin cells. While cold-pressed avocado and jojoba, rich in essential fatty acids, leave your skin feeling soft, smooth and clear.

This products is concentrated (does not contain water) so only a small amount is needed. Which also makes it great value for money as a little goes a long way."

Gentle cleansing melt: mandarin & chamomile

"We call our uniquely formulated cleansers ‘cleansing melts’ because they have a semi-solid consistency, which gently melts on contact with skin. They are designed to penetrate the skin's lower layers; removing impurities and restoring natural balance. And are based on the homeopathic principle of 'like cures like'.

Conventional cleansers can strip the skin of its natural oil, forcing it to go into overdrive to produce more oil, and causing the skin to become imbalanced and problematic.

Botanicals cleansing melt is different. It will dissolve and lift make up, dead skin cells and other impurities - whilst retaining the skin's natural balance.

When removed with a hot cloth, pores will open, and all of the impurities which cause dull and blemished skin will be gently released and wiped away.

Not only do the precious oils in organic products help retain natural balance, they also have a healing, protective and moisturising effect on the skin.

Botanicals Gentle Cleansing Melt is ideal for normal, sensitive and problem skin. Choose our rose & melt if your skin is mature or prone to dryness."

I've really enjoyed using these products Because they feel so luxurious when I'm using them and they leave my skin feeling so nice.

Have you tried any Botanicals products?? Let me know in the comments so i know what to try next.
